Surveillance across major cities in Ireland increased due to the increase in drug crimes

Updated: Dec 9, 2019

Garda are on high alert in cities and towns all across Ireland due to a report of increased drug imports and crimes over the last few weeks. Yesterday, a vehicle was detained in Blanchardstown, Dublin containing meth, cannabis, and heroin of up to €300,000. 2 Irish men, Sean Mallon, 28, and Peter McCann, 32, were arrested on the crime scene.

Due to the heavy increase in drugs being transported around the country, parents have been advised to be extra mindful of their children as the situation is being under investigation and if citizens witness anything suspicious, they should inform the authorities immediately.
